- 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 stick butter, softened
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 stick butter, softened
- 1 large egg
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preheat oven to 375 F. Whisk together flour, cocoa, baking powder & salt. In a large bowl, mix 1 stick of butter & sugar until pale and fluffy. Mix in the other stick of butter. Add egg & vanilla, mix until creamy. Gradually add flour mixture until just combined. Using an ice cream scoop, drop dough onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 15-18 minutes. Cool in pan on wire rack.
**Store them in an air tight container (if you even have any left) :)
